The occult and pagan practices have been around historically for thousands of years which have spread from Babylon> Egypt> Mesopotamia> Persia> Assyria> Rome and into the British Isles. One of the noted wonders of the world is Stonehenge, which is found in the Salisbury Plains; the southern part of England. The stone circle consists of large blue granite rocks. Archaeologists have dug up over 4,000 human skeletal remains that have been confirmed as human sacrifice offerings on this site.

Furthermore, the Circle of Avebury is another stone circle which is over a mile in circumference and consisted of multiple stone hedges. These sites throughout Britain were constructed for the worship and sacrifice to pagan gods. From around 900 BC to 900 AD there lived a nomadic tribe of people known as the Celts. Within this tribe were priests known as Druids who had power and authority over the people and their activities.

In these historic places (Stonehenge and the Circle of Avebury), the Druids prepared and dictated the worship of pagan gods and human sacrifice on eight occult holidays during the year. On one particular series of nights known as the nights of Samhain, or what is called Halloween today (Oct. 29-31), were the highest nights of human sacrifice of all the other occult celebrations during the calender year.

The Wicker Man

Within the stone circles, the Druids would light huge fires and fill large cauldrons up with a mead like substance and bring it up to rapid boiling temperature.

During the evenings, the Druids would leave the stone circles and go trick or treating throughout the local area and/or the countryside to places of nobility and knock on their doors. A treat was given to the owner of the property if someone was given over to them from their household for human sacrifice to their pagan gods. The treat was a pumpkin, gourd, or turnip that was filled with human fat which was lit and placed at the entrance of the castle, manor, or house in order for protection from the demonic forces that they would summon.

The trick was performed if the owner was not compliant with their demands. The Druids would paint a six-pointed star with a circle around it in blood on the door which would allow all the summoned demonic forces to enter into the household and kill with fright.

As the nights progressed, the many people that were rounded up for sacrifice were put into a large wicker, reed figure that had a head, arms, and legs. This figure was built up to 35 feet tall and was made from reeds that the Celtic warriors had gathered the week in advance. Inside the wicker man were cages where humans, animals, and food offerings were placed. During the evening ceremony, the Druids lit the wicker man on fire as an offering to the god of fire, Konanos, and the Celtic lord of the dead, Samhain.

Once the wicker man was to capacity, the Druids had a game that they would play with the extra ones who were left out. Inside of the cauldrons, the liquid substance had been rapidly boiling for hours; in order for those to earn their freedom, apples were thrown into the boiling liquid and they were told that if they could bob for the apples with their heads and grab the apple, they would go free; those who refused were beheaded. Unfortunately, those that chose to bob for the apples were so physically burnt after to a point where the liquid melted their flesh, blinded their eyes, caused respiratory and ear canal damage, hair loss, etc…

The Druids wore masks with hooded robes with occult symbols that they had painted on them. During these nights they believed that the boundary or veil between the physical and spiritual was at its thinnest; therefore, the symbols and masks were used as magical protection to control the demonic, malevolent spirits that crossed over from the other side.

Today, the modern day version of Halloween is celebrated with costumes and outfits that are worn, people go out and trick or treat, carve pumpkins, and play games, such as bobbing for apples.

Many “Christians” today celebrate the Halloween traditions also with their own counterfeit perversion, even within the church. Somehow people think they are glorifying Jesus Christ by involving themselves in pagan customs and rituals. Unfortunately, many do not realize that engaging in this occult holiday does not align with Scripture, but is exactly the opposite.

CJ Sledgehammer,

Halloween is a purely pagan, occult holiday. The symbols of Halloween that are used today still portray the true meaning of the day.

Whether you are carving a pumpkin, bobbing for apples, and/or trick or treating, thinking about Jesus while you are doing it does not change the historical fact and meaning, nor justifies it as honoring God no matter what way "Christians" try to spin it.

Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen - Jeremiah 10:2

Halloween is the high Sabat of Samhain for witches around the world; unfortunately many "Christians " symbolically partake in their activities too.

Thanks for reading.
